Ethan is a native born Miamian and hates every bit of it. Ever since he was a kid he’s felt out of place there, never quite fitting in. His dad certainly never helped with it either. His father was an all American boy, football star and the likes. His first born son followed closely in his footsteps but then Ethan came along and threw him for a loop. His mother died soon after he was born, so the only parental figure he had was his father. Ethan proved to be a disaster at sports but rather a natural when it came to anything in the arts. He’s a musical prodigy, a jack of many instruments although his preference is the guitar. And he’s also a huge theatre geek, quite the ham whenever he’s on stage. Needless to say, his father doesn’t approve. In the slightest. And the fact that he came out of the closet to him a couple years back didn’t help their relationship much either. His father forced him to go to UM for college, mostly for the cheaper cost, but Ethan is convinced it’s because he wants to monitor him, hoping one day he’ll snap out of this ‘phase.’ He's majoring in theatre and minoring in music. Ethan’s dream is to move to the Big Apple and make it big as an actor but for the time he’s stuck in his personal hell.
So, as far as friends go, Ethan gets along with practically anybody. He’s super friendly and talkative and very outgoing. He can pick practically anybody’s spirits up and tends to be the optimist, even if he himself isn’t feeling too great. He’s also quite the gossip and does not know how to keep a secret. Naturally, most of his friends are female. Usually his guy friends are gay as well, but he gets along with anyone really, as long as they want to befriend him. For enemies, Ethan has had his fair share. Growing up he got picked on, bullied, and beat up. He’s grown a thick shell and has no fear in the face of a bully. He’ll tell you exactly what he thinks of you, which often winds up in trouble. He’s also very proud of his sexuality which doesn’t go over well with everyone. He’s certainly faced a decent amount of homophobes who also weren’t afraid to tell him exactly what they think. And for lovers, Ethan is totally inexperienced. He plays it off well, trying to act smooth and suave, but inside he’s usually a wreck.

BEC AND ETHAN
well, bec isn't gay, but i think they would be really good friends. they seem to have quite a few things in common, personality wise. plus their the same age. i'm not sure how they would meet because bec just moved to miami this passed year.

yeah they definitely seem like they'd get along well. umm well Ethan would definitely show him around Miami and all that good stuff, maybe they could possibly be neighbors or something like that?

i had originally created bec for a wanted ad, in which he is living with a friend and her family right now, but i'm not sure if that member is going to come back... if they don't post soon, i'm going to have bec living alone, in which case they should definitely be neighbours and bec would love having someone to show him around.
